　　Common faults and maintenance methods of vacuum cleaners:

　　1. The whole machine does not work after the vacuum cleaner is powered on

　　The main reasons are: 1. The fuse is blown, and the fuse should be replaced with a new one. ②The power cord is in poor contact or the motor leads are loose. ③ The power switch is damaged (Note: some vacuum cleaners have two switches: one is installed on the housing, and the other is installed on the handle of the hose). ④If the motor is damaged, only replace the new motor; if the bearing in the motor is damaged or the carbon brush is worn, the new bearing or carbon brush can be replaced.

　　2. The motor of the vacuum cleaner can rotate but does not vacuum

　　The main reasons are: 1. The dust bag in the vacuum cleaner is full and the air path is blocked. It is enough to remove the garbage and sundries in the dust bag. ②The interface of the vacuum cleaner hose, nozzle, and dust bag is blocked by foreign objects. It should be checked whether the channels and micropores are blocked, and the foreign matter can be removed to make it unobstructed. ③The connection between the hose, the brush holder, and the extension pipe is not good to cause air leakage. Check the connections of the vacuum cleaner and reconnect them. ④The middle connection part of the shell is not well connected or the sealing rubber ring is aging and failing. Check each connection, check the sealing ring, and replace it if necessary.

　　Third, the vacuum cleaner is weak

　　The main reasons are: ①The motor speed is too low. Check whether the motor is normal (such as whether the winding is short-circuited, whether the bearing is flexible, or whether the fan blade is blocked). If it is damaged, it should be replaced in time. ②The fan and the motor are not fixed properly, causing the fan not to rotate or the speed to be too low, and then fix it again. ③The hose, suction nozzle, and dust bag are seriously blocked, and the foreign matter is removed to ensure smoothness. ④ If the casing is not tightly sealed, replace it with a new sealing ring.

　　The main reasons are 1. The motor insulation of the vacuum cleaner is invalid. It only needs to be insulated after drying. If there is no effect, replace the new motor. ②The live part is in contact with the metal rod, find the contact point and use an insulator for insulation treatment.

　　It is mainly caused by the poor contact between the carbon brush of the vacuum cleaner motor and the commutator. The solution is: to replace the carbon brushes to keep them in good contact with the commutator and place a capacitor between the two carbon brushes.

　　6. The vacuum cleaner cannot be braked after the power cord is pulled out

　　Check whether the brake wheel of the vacuum cleaner brake system and the friction disc on the spool are in good contact. If necessary, replace the spring and other related parts.

　　7. The noise of the vacuum cleaner increases significantly when it is working

　　The main reasons are 1. The fasteners are loose, check the fasteners everywhere and reinforce them. ②The motor fan is loose, or the fan blade touches the casing. Just re-adjust the fan position. ③ If the motor bearing is damaged, replace it with a new one. ④The carbon brushes of the motor are worn out, just replace the carbon brushes.
